Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!

One of my goals each New Year is simply to add to my blog more often. Yet, as each year begins and life moves forward, I find that it isn't so simple. Nevertheless, one of my goals for 2014 is to try to make my blog a priority... again. I adore my little space on the Internet and all of the precious memories I have preserved here. There are times when I go back and look through the older posts, thanking God I took the time needed to add those pictures and type those words! I know I only have a handful of folks who read along, but I also realize these are the people who genuinely enjoy seeing new posts and feel closer to my family through my words and photos. So, here's to 2014 and the many Little Moments we'll experience this year!

Christmas 2013 was a beautiful celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior. We focused in on enjoying this season with family and friends, and despite various illnesses along the way, we truly did enjoy the holidays! Sean's office was closed the week of Christmas, and Gracie was out of school on Winter Break until just yesterday. We have spent many hours watching movies, playing games, baking, visiting with family, enjoying friendship, eating, and feeling so very thankful for our many blessings.

We are now looking forward to what this new year will bring, and pray it delivers (pun intended) much of what it did last year! 2013 is a year to remember, for sure. 5 beautiful babies were added to our world, and I have greatly enjoyed loving on these new additions. 2014 will be the year of the 1st birthday in our family!

Our family enjoyed choosing and decorating a real tree this year! The whole experience was lots of fun for the kids and will most likely become our new family tradition.

My Gracie-girl loves Christmas and the traditions she's been enjoying she since arrived. She was wonderful about helping me in the kitchen with various yummy items. Sugar cookie baking and decorating is one of our special traditions each year, but we kept them all for ourselves and baked red velvet cupcakes for Santa instead!

I hope 2014 is one of your best years yet!
