Vent.

It's been a tough week in our household. Ethan appears to be teething, Gracie has been fighting with her belly issues, I am moody and irritable and in need of a vacation. Alone. I already failed at my New Year's resolution, to be more patient, so that's encouraging. I hate complaining. I try so hard to have a positive outlook on life in general, but sometimes I want to pout and cry on the steering wheel, so I do. I'm so lucky I have women in my life who welcome my venting with open arms, because honestly, men do not get it. Not even a little bit. I'm hoping I can keep this one on track somehow... :)

His sweet smile has made each day a little brighter. Here's hoping next week will be a little less vent-worthy.

    :-)

I'm so sorry you are so stressed out and that this week was a tough one. I'd be happy to help out any way I can - watch the kids for a bit, whatever. I hate to hear you've been so upset.

I know you will tackle those New Year's resolutions before the year ends...you still have a little bit of time, haha. Seriously though, don't beat yourself up over this! You're human, you're bound to still get frustrated and fed up, and that's OK.

  4. Wow, I think I could have written exactly what you did - except I am not kind enough to myself to give myself a good cry on the steering wheel. Good for you for giving yourself "permission" to vent!!!

  5. I so understand where you are coming from and venting every once in a while is totally ok. I hope this coming week is a little easier on you. :)
